Allene Vinzant
Principal and Teacher of English, Literature and Latin

Ms. Vinzant comes from a long line of educators, teachers, principals, and professors. She graduated summa cum laude in 1993 from Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in English/Secondary Education. Allene is currently working on a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction at Columbia International University. She was named “Teacher of the Year” at Hillcrest Christian School in Jackson, Mississippi in 1999. Ms. Vinzant taught English and Latin at Life Christian High School for the last six years where she was honored as “Master Teacher” in 2004 and awarded “Teacher of the Year” in 2005. Also, during the 2006-2007 school year, she designed and implemented a mentoring program to train and support new teachers. Allene’s experience, teaching, and innovative educational strategies make her the perfect choice for our principal at FCCHS.

Lawrence Trokey
Teacher of History, Electives

Lawrence Trokey graduated with honors from Webster University with a Bachelor’s degree in Media Communications. For 15 years, he worked in the field of Marketing with a special emphasis in graphic design and project management. Most recently, Mr. Trokey was a Senior Advertising Communication Specialist for one of the top flooring wholesalers in the country, were he taught numerous sales/marketing seminars. At his church he serves as an Elder and plays guitar for the worship team. Mr. Trokey also is a member of a contemporary Christian music band and performs at local church services, coffee houses and church festivals.

Angela Luetkenhaus
Teacher of Science, Math

Angela Luetkenhaus graduated cum laude from McKendree University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received a Master of Science at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. During graduate school, Mrs. Luetkenhaus also conducted field research for the US Forest Service in the Ottawa Forest of Upper Michigan. Upon graduation, she served three years as the laboratory coordinator for McKendree University where she also began teaching as an adjunct biology instructor. Mrs. Luetkenhaus has taught several Biology courses for McKendree University over the last ten years, and during the 2007 school year, taught high school Biology and Algebra. Outside the walled classroom, Ms. Luetkenhaus has served as the staff biologist and program assistant at Camp Wartburg since April of 2005. She has instructed students from pre-kindergarten to adult in a variety of outdoor programs including forest ecology, wetland ecology, spelunking, high ropes, orienteering, survival skills, and canoeing.

Karl Webb
Teacher of English, Bible

Karl Webb graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in English. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree from Covenant Theological Seminary. Mr. Webb has taught in the Ohio and Virginia public school systems for 8 years, with his most recent assignment as an English teacher at Amelia High School in Amelia, Virginia. He also taught Photojournalism for two years at Park View High School in South Hill, Virginia. After moving to Missouri in 2006, Mr. Webb was a substitute teacher for the Brentwood School District. He is also a free lance wedding photographer and an accomplished cook.

Paul C. Lewis
Athletic Director

Paul Lewis played multiple sports in high school earning varsity letters in Football, Basketball, and Baseball. Coach Lewis coached the boys basketball team last year and has previously coached at the high school level in football and various recreational league sports. He is excited to serve as Athletic Director for Faith Community and enjoys helping our students excel in athletic competition. Coach Lewis works full-time as the National Sales Manager for a printing supply company. He has received several distinctions and an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force, was a firefighter/paramedic for Springfield, Illinois, and worked several years as a police officer. Coach Lewis is the son of Pastor Frank Lewis and is currently serving as a deacon at Kirkwood Road Christian Church.
