FCCHS Praise Band
The Band
Students will embark on a journey of musical exploration and be in service to the student body through providing orchestration of praise and worship music. Students study the individual nature of their instruments (guitar, electric bass, keyboards, drum kit, and voice) and the interactive responsibility of their instruments and voices in a whole group setting.
- Working together to form a cohesive musical unit
- Improving one's understanding of musical theory through practical application
- Development of musical proficiency to provide an inspired worship experience
What We Strive For:
Primarily through a series of practice sessions, take-home exercises and in-class exhibitions, students will achieve these goals and more. Demonstration of a willing attitude to grow as a musician and as a Christian thrugh worship, bringing enthusiasm and seriousness to the work of providing a beneficial worship experience for the student body, and possessing a spirit for bonding as a worship team will foster a student's success in this class.
The class has finished song writing exercises and will be recording a CD soon. Watch the FCCHS
