Rosetta Stone
Spanish I, Spanish II, Spanish III, and Italian I

This year FCCHS has decided to take advantage of the high quality Rosetta Stone curriculum and offer it to our students. K-12 and higher education institutions around the country use Rosetta Stone Classroom to bring the very best language-learning curriculum to their students.

The Rosetta Stone software utilizes a combination of images, text, and sound, with difficulty levels increasing as the student progresses, in order to teach various vocabulary terms and grammatical functions intuitively, without drills or translation. They call this the "Dynamic Immersion method". The goal is to teach languages the way first languages are learned.

Rosetta Stone Classroom Version 3 Online, provided by the world's best-known name in technology-based language learning, is a proven, effective solution for world language students. The program delivers customizable, engaging instruction for all four language learning domains: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Utilizing an immersion method, lessons effectively associate words with their meanings through rich visual imagery, eliminating the need for translation into the learner's native language. Learner progress and success are easily tracked using the powerful reporting tools included.
