Mission and Doctrinal Statement
“The mission and vision of Faith Community Christian High School is to train and equip students to impact their world for Jesus Christ. The school will strive to provide high quality Christian education and to develop integrity, character, and a desire to serve in our young men and women.
The curriculum will emphasize a biblical worldview that translates into life changing Christian convictions. Our sports program is designed to instill a spirit of team achievement, Christian fellowship, and sportsmanship as our student athletes compete for the glory of God. It will be our goal to teach students, parents, teachers, and administrators to resolve conflict consistent with biblical truths. In short, the mission of Faith Community Christian High School is to prepare our students to live godly lives and prepare the foundation upon which the next generation of Christians can be built.”
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God.
We
believe in one true God, eternally existent in three persons – Father,
Son (Jesus Christ) and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and
is God.
We believe that Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless
life, was crucified, died and was buried and rose from the dead on the third
day. Salvation can only be obtained by faith in Jesus Christ and by
accepting His death on the cross as payment for our sins. This is a
free gift of grace and cannot be earned by good works.
We believe
in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit indwells believers endowing them
with specific spiritual gifts as He determines.
We believe the Church
is the Body of Christ and is made up of born-again believers. When believers
are born of the Spirit, they are adopted into the Kingdom of Heaven, and united
together as the Body of Christ. As members of the Body of Christ, we
are called to make disciples of all nations.
