Congratulations to the FCCHS Basketball team for an outstanding 2009/2010 season which culminated in the trip to Joplin for the playoffs. The team played hard in the first round but came up short against North County.

However, the boys came back strong and won the second game against Blue Ridge Christian School. That win put them in position for the first place trophy in the consolation bracket against St. Louis Christian School. It was a very close game, but with only 1.2 seconds left in a tie game, St. Louis Christian made a 3 pointer at the buzzer to win the game.

FCCHS finished in 6th place in the tournament. They were seeded 7th, which was quite an accomplishment since the team was placed in Division 1 which is the larger school division. The team was given the Sportsmanship Award for the tournament. Nathaniel Dummerth earned the "Second Team, All-State" award. He was also awarded "Second Team, All-Conference" in our local conference.
