boysbaseball The 2009 baseball Spartans won the TRCCA Conference Championship with a perfect conference record and 8-4 mark overall. The Spartans were led by senior Zach Dummerth who was named Conference Player of the Year for his outstanding season on the mound and at the plate. In addition to Player of the Year, the Spartans also garnered 3 All-Conference Player nominations with Dummerth, sophomore Jesse Jauernig, and senior Aaron Tate; and a Second Team All-Conference nomination with sophomore Nate Dummerth. Coach Kenny Hinrichsen was named Conference Coach of the Year. The hard working FCCHS Spartans were also the winners of the only game played at the MCSAA State Tournament that was ultimately canceled due to severe weather. Congratulations to all the Spartan players on a successful 2009 baseball season.
